The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(1)(b) and (c) of the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and having consulted such persons and groups of persons as they consider appropriate in accordance with section 28(3) of that Act, hereby make the following Regulations: Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation of Care (Registration and Registers) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 1st April 2004. Amendment of the Regulation of Care (Registration and Registers) (Scotland) Regulations 2002 2. - (1) The Regulation of Care (Registration and Registers) (Scotland) Regulations 2002[2] shall be amended as follows. (2) In the Schedule (particulars to be recorded in the registers kept by the Commission)[3], at the end insert-
(This note is not part of the Regulations) These Regulations amend the Regulation of Care (Registration and Registers) (Scotland) Regulations 2002 ("the principal Regulations"). Regulation 2(2) amends the Schedule to the principal Regulations so as to require the register kept by the Commission in accordance with regulation 2 of the principal Regulations to include particulars of whether the care service is one registered under Part 1, or as the case may be, Part 2 of the Act.
